How to celebrate Eid-ul-fitr with children at home?

Eid-ul-Fitr can be celebrated with great fun and devotion at home in the following ways:

    • Children can wear new clothes and wish each other Eid by giving a hug.
    • They can wish their elders and ask for ‘iddi’.
    • If possible, you can take your child to a mosque to show the rich tradition of India. It will help him have a hands-on experience of the way Eid is actually celebrated and will definitely find it interesting.
    • You can involve your child in helping you prepare special dishes for Eid like seviyan, sweet rice etc.

Happy Eid to all of you…
