The National Institute of Open Schooling or NIOS was originally called as the National Open School. It was established in the year November1989 and the main aim of establishment was the pursuance of the National Policy of Education of 1986. i m manas ranjan nayak from orissa sir i passed out my 10th board on april 2007 at nios on my state.after i got my board marksheet n board certificate my sur name was miss it came only manas ranjan .the i applied 4 my full name certificte then i got it but this time also sur name was missed so now i want 2 do diploma at banglore but i m affraid if any verification done by my institute then wat shoud i say them ,so sir plzz give some ideas n help me out of this problem…..

Pl let me know whether the Sr. Secondery course of NIOS is approved by the state run colleges. And also by Calcutta University. If such course is approved by the Calcutta University in that case can i admit for any state(WB) college in BSc stream?? pls help me by providing the information for my career.
