07 24th, 2008A girl from Allahabad has topped the board exam in physics, after getting compartment two months back. Alankriti, has scored 90+ marks in all other subjects, but was shocked to see her compartment in physics in the XII board exams, which were declared two months back.
On revaluation it was found that her marks were mistakenly computed less than the actual obtained marks. The whole rectification process took 2 months, and in the meantime admissions have closed in all the regular courses in prominent universities, leaving her in distress because of loss of an academic year.
Board has accepted their mistake and but no official word has been given when asked for a comment on this issue.
