MCD Teachers Files Plea In HC Over Election Duties

Primary school teachers of MCD have filed a plea in high court against long working hours after school during election days. The high court bench has accepted their plea and has asked for detailed report from government counsel about the working hours of primary school teachers of MCD during elections.

Teachers are complaining about forceful deployment on election duties even on working days and holidays. The petition is filed by All Delhi Prathmik Shikshak Sangh on behalf of primary teachers of MCD.
