The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the much awaited results of class Xth today at 10.a.m for the remaining regions i.e. Delhi, Guwahati, Allahabad. The board had already announced the CBSE class Xth results in Ajmer, Chennai and Panchkula regions on Tuesday, 26th May 29, 2009.

Girls have once again outshone boys in the CBSE class Xth exams. The pass percentage of girls is 89.78 percent, compared to 88.18 percent of boys said a CBSE spokesperson. The overall pass percentage recorded a 1.76 percent increase from previous year and the pass percentage this year is 88.84 percent.
Chennai region has scored the highest pass percentage with 95.60 percent. This year, 824,421 students including 331,922 girls and 473,499 boys appeared for the CBSE class Xth exams throughout the country.
