Invites application from candidates who appeared in CAT 2009 for

Admission to the two year Post Graduate Programme in Management

Batch 2010-2012

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak is launching its two-year Post Graduat Programme in Management from the academic session 2010-2011. IIM Lucknow is mentor for IIM Rohtak.

The admission office of IIM Lucknow will receive and process the application from candidates who meet the eligibility criteria as mentioned below and would  like to apply to IIM Rohtak for this programme. Fees for the two-year  programme will be Rs. 3 lakh per year.

How to Apply:

Candidates who meet the above-mentioned criteria and have obtained a CAT 2009 score of at-least the cut off percentile corresponding to their category may download the IIM Rohtak Application Form from the IIM Lucknow website www.iiml.ac.in

The same duly filled-in along with his/her recent passport size photograph may be sent to Admission Office, IIM Lucknow, Prabandh Nagar, Off Sitapur Road, Lucknow – 226013 latest by 20 April, 2010

IIM-A Programmes For Government Servants

39 participants have enrolled themselves in an exclusive programme that will be held at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad — IIM-A. The basic ideology is to improve upon the skills needed for formulating better public policies. This postgraduate programme is also called the PGP-PMP and the core of its students are government servants. This initiative is aimed at addressing the need for better public management among the government employees. In fact, there is discussion in the Administrative Reforms Commission of diverting civil services towards the private sector too. This also marks the coming together of the government and corporate sectors.

The former President of India, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Azad will be teaching a batch of 70 students in the country’s premier managment institute, IIM-A. The course, named as “Globalising a Resurgent India through Innovative Transformation (GRIT)” will be attended by the students in the Ahmedabad.

The course is aimed to address reflect on the key areas like Urban-rural divide, Water Conservation, Energy and Security and will also deal with various issues pertaining to the said subjects.  The course has been designed by the former president himself and Professor Anil K.Gupta of the same institute. Other issues regarding governance and policy making, will be covered in the course.
