44 institutes of repute are set to lose the deemed-to-be university status, if the reports are to be believed. News is also trickling in, that maybe 27 of these blacklisted universities might just be let off the hook by the Govt.

Guys, Please dont make a mistake by joining this university.
I have studied in this college and am 2007 pass out.
This college is pathetic. I can tell you valid reasons for this.
When I was studying, the fee was 41000. I was paying the same amount till 2007. Now the same class, same faculty, same place, and more icing on the cake,
the syllabus is designed by the worst and idiot professor of vel tech. I have their training materials and all that. Its not at all up to the mark.
Now the same place is costly. Just by adding the tag of deemed university. They are charging 1.5 lac per year.
This is really ridiculous. They are just minting money. Their university status is going to go in few time.
Guys, you are very smart. You are the future of India. You just go to the vel tech website and check out the faculty list. It will not be working. click on login and click on submit. It will show page not found.
Imagine if a DEEMED university cannot design their website page properly, how can they teach students?? What kind of syllabus will be taught to the students.
I was in ECE Department and i was seeing the list. They have the same faulty. Not even one lecturer is changed. So on what basis they increased so much price.
You try and talk to the lecturers. They dont even know english properly. How will they teach students ???
So please guys take a wise decision and dont join this cheater college.
