University of Leeds, UK) is a visionary and one of the most
respected educationists in India.He is credited with bringing the
concept of school chains in India with the signing of the first
SHEMROCK Franchise in 1991.
Dr. Arora is also the pro-vice chairman of Delhi Public School, Pinjore- which is today considered one of the country’s leading residential schools with more than 1200 students from 12 countries studying in its beautiful campus.

Arora (B.E. (Delhi College of Engineering), MBA (University
of California, Irvine, USA) Doctoral Researcher in Education
Leadership & Management (University of Nottingham, UK) is the
young & dynamic Managing Director of SHEMFORD and member
managing committee DPS Pinjore. As the M.D. of SHEMROCK, he has
played a major role in the franchising and growth of the school
chain. He is also renowned for introducing pioneering concepts
in the integration of technology in school education in India.
As recognition to his leadership role in the Indian School
System, he was nominated as the Chairman of the 2006 conference
of Independent Schools of India. In addition, he has been
awarded the “Young Entrepreneur of the year 2006” by the
Governor of Delhi.
Dr. (Mrs.) Bimla
Arora (B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D.(University of Leeds, UK) is the
Associate Director of SHEMFORD Schools. The Founder
director of SHEMROCK Group of Schools, is one of the country’s
most renowned figures in early childhood education. She is
considered an expert in creating child-friendly environments
with a focus on stress-free learning. She has been a member of
expert committees of NCERT & UNDP projects. Dr. (Mrs.) Bimla
Arora has been honoured with a number of awards, some of which
are the Peace, Mercy & Tolerance Award from Indian Institute of
Ecology & Environment in 2001, the Raja Ram Mohan Roy Teacher’s
Award- 2002, P.T.A. National Award in 2002, Shakuntalam Award
for Excellence in 2003, SANSA Award in 2003 and National Award
by Nayak Bharati in 2005.
Mrs. Meenal Arora
is the Executive Director and leads the team for
Educational Research & Training at SHEMFORD. She has been
primarily responsible for designing the ShemEduMax™ system and
curriculum, based on both the latest research findings and
changing needs. She is also credited with raising the quality of
the SHEMROCK systems to International Standards, making SHEMROCK
stand at par with the best preschool systems across the world.
As a result of her efforts, SHEMROCK has been awarded the ISO
9001:2000 certification by Intertek, the first for any preschool
chain worldwide. Mrs. Meenal Arora, a management postgraduate
from Delhi University is also a doctoral researcher in the field
of educational leadership and management at the University of
Nottingham, UK.
