The Chairman of SHEMROCK & SHEMFORD Group of Schools is credited with bringing the concept of school chains in India with the signing of the first SHEMROCK Franchise in 1991. Dr. Arora is also the Pro - Vice Chairman of Delhi Public School, Pinjore - which is today considered as one of the Country's Leading Residential Schools with more than 1200 students from 12 countries studying in its beautiful campus.
Amol Arora B.E. (Delhi College of Engineering), MBA (University of California, Irvine, USA) Doctoral Researcher in Education Leadership & Management (University of Nottingham, UK) is the dynamic Vice Chairman & Managing Director of SHEMROCK & SHEMFORD Group of Schools and Member of Managing Committee, DPS Pinjore. As the MD of the Group, he has played a major role in the franchising and growth of the School Chains. He is also known for introducing pioneering concepts and integration of technology in School Education in India. As recognition to his leadership role in the Indian School System, he was nominated as the Chairman of the 2006 conference of Independent Schools of India. In addition, he has also been awarded the “Young Entrepreneur of the year 2006” by the Governor of Delhi. He was also felicitated by the “Independent School Federation of India” in 2007 for his contribution to School Education in India. Under his leadership, the group received 'Franchisor of the year in Education: Preschool' Award by Franchise Plus Magazine, and has been amongst the “Top 100 Franchise Opportunities” by The Franchising World Magazine, for two consecutive years. Dr. (Mrs.) Bimla Arora (B.Sc.- Gold Medalist, M.Sc., Ph.D. (University of Leeds, UK)) is the Associate Director of SHEMFORD Futuristic Schools. As the Founder Director of SHEMROCK Preschools, she is one of the Country's most renowned figures for Early Childhood Education. She is considered an expert in creating child - friendly environments with a focus on stress-free learning. Her many contributions, especially in Child Education, have won her many Credits and Awards, some of which are the Peace, Mercy & Tolerance Award from Indian Institute of Ecology & Environment in 2001, the Raja Ram Mohan Roy Teacher's Award-2002, Parent Teacher Association National Award in 2002, Shakuntalam Award for Excellence in 2003, SANSA Award in 2003, and National Award by Nayak Bharti in 2005. She has also been a member of expert committees of NCERT & UNDP projects.
Mrs. Meenal Arora (B.Com (H), P.G. in Global Business Management (S.R.C.C.), Doct. Researcher, Ed. Leadership & Management (Univ. of Nottingham, U.K.)) is the Executive Director & COO of SHEMROCK & SHEMFORD Group of Schools. A committed Education professional, with a passion for quality and innovation, Mrs. Meenal Arora is a thoroughbred Education Researcher. She has demonstrated her commitment to innovation in school curriculum by being the primary force behind the development of the ShemEduMAXTM system, which is implemented across all SHEMFORD & SHEMROCK Schools and is based on the latest research findings and changing needs. As head of the school curriculum division, Mrs. Arora’s responsibilities extend to designing, innovating, and developing educational systems. She also heads the ‘Training & Development’ department and has keen interest in ‘Systems Development’ & ‘Branch Support’. Mrs. Arora was honoured with the Club Mahindra annual award for “Outstanding Achievement in School Management” and the “Women Entrepreneur of the Year 2009” by honourable Union Minister of State of Home Affairs, Shri Sriprakash Jaiswal in New Delhi. In January 2010, Mrs. Arora was also awarded the Parent Teacher Golden Jubilee National Award, by the PTA of India.
