ASSOCHAM to provide free professional Education
ASSOCHAM released a press note in which the institution assured that it
will provide free professional education to 500 girls regarding its
commitment to the development of skilled force and provision of job
opportunities for the underprivileged.
ASSOCHAM has also offered to adopt 40 Industrial Training Institutes,
which provide vocational training to the students. The institution
further revealed to sponsor coaching classes for 1100 young graduates,
which are preparing for the competitive exams.
This time AASOCHAM and the government agencies would be working together
for betterment of the underprivileged, the schedule caste and schedule
tribes. The institution is trying to impart skilled knowledge and
training to these people in order to facilitate development in the
marginalized sections. Different arrangements for SC/ST candidates have
been made and several programmes have been rolled out.
The former president of ASSOCHAM, Anil Agarwal said that the Chamber has
also launched a Skilled Upgradation Programme and Entrepreneurship
Development on similar lines.
In the under-developed parts of the country, there is still a large
population that remains bereft of formal education. These people
primarily opt for agriculture related services, as the expertise and
technical know-how of many other trades and occupations are never known
to them. |
