CET-2013: BOPEE announces new dates
The Biology paper of the Common Entrance Test-2013, scheduled to be held in the morning session on Sunday 23rd of June, has been postponed. However, the Mathematics paper will be conducted as per schedule in the afternoon session.
Meanwhile, the Chemistry paper, the exam of which was held on Saturday, stands cancelled. The decision to this effect was taken by Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) after some Biology papers were found in Chemistry packets.
As per the notice issued by the BOPEE Secretary, examination will be held on July 5 for both the papers. Biology paper has been scheduled in the morning session at 10:00 AM, Chemistry paper will start in the afternoon session at 2:30 PM. The reporting time for morning session was fixed as 9: 25 AM and for afternoon session, 1:55 PM.
The venue of Examination for the papers will remain same as given in the candidates’ Admit Cards already issued.
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) result for the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) was declared on Friday, two days ahead of schedule. Only the top 1,50,000 students in JEE(Main) were allowed to sit for the JEE (Advanced) exam, which was held on June 2, 2013 (through offline).
The JEE (Advanced)-2013 examination included two objective type papers. Each paper consisted of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Admissions to IITs will be based only on category wise All India Rank (AIR) in JEE (Advanced) subject to the condition that such candidates are in the top 20 percentile of successful candidates of their Boards in applicable categories.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) holds a competitive Examination named Geologists Examination for recruitment to the posts of
Category I (i) Geologist (Junior), Group A (ii) Assistant Geologist, Group B in the Geological Survey of India.

Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has today declared the final Result/Rank List for KEAM (Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical) Exam 2013 for the aspirants of Engineering.
The KEAM Entrance Examination for engineering courses 2013 was conducted on 22 April 2013 for Paper-1 (Physics and Chemistry) and 23 April for Paper 2 (Mathematics). The mark list of Entrance Examination was published by CEE on 23 May 2013.
Now, the Final Result prepared on the basis of students scores obtained in the Entrance Exam and in Qualifying Exam is being declared today.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Services Commission (UPPSC) invites applications for Personal Communications Service Examination-2013 – UP PCS Exam. Previously, the UPPSC Exam 2013 was scheduled to take place on 9 June,2013. However, the exam will now be conducted on 26th June 2013.
Candidates now need to prepare themselves for the exam of 26th June 2013. Admit Cards for UP PCS Exam will be released.

CPF Exam Eligibility
- Age eligibility: Minimum 20 years & Maximum 25 years as on 1st August of the exam year
- Academic eligibility: A degree from a recognised University or equivalent
- Physical Standards eligibility: You need to have minimum Physical Standards as given in the notification
- Female candidates can not apply for BSF and ITBP.

Physical and medical standards test will be conducted only for those candidates who qualify the written examination. Interview for personal test will be of 200 marks.
State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the results of the written examination for recruitment of probationary officers.
The candidates who qualified must download the interview call letters. The second phase of exam consisting of group discussion and interview would begin from July 3.
The result is much-awaited as over 17 lakh candidates had applied for 1,500 vacancies for which the written examination was conducted on April 28, 2012. This was the highest number of applicants SBI had received in recent times.
A probationary officer in SBI earns a maximum salary of up to Rs 69,000 a month in Mumbai, while it would be around Rs 50,000 in other places.
