GATE Online Application Form

  • Online applications invited from 2nd September, 2013 for GATE exam which is jointly conducted by the Indian Institute of Science and seven IIT’s on behalf of the National Coordination Board.
  • Seven IITs are IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee.
  • This exam is held for admission in post graduate programme such as M.E., M.Tech, and direct Ph.D for the academic year 2014. So, applicants may apply online.

Eligibility Criteria for GATE Online Application Form 2014: If you are interested to give GATE Exam then you must have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy or four year Bachelor’s degree in Science.

AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA)

Entrance Test for Management courses 2014-2015

Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS), Hyderabad invites applications for AIMS ATMA December 2013 Entrance Test for Management courses for Admissions in its participating institutes across India.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

ATMA Exam Pattern:

It will be a computer based exam with multiple choice questions. Each question will have 4 options, out of which you need to select one option. There are 3 areas which are divided into six sections. This means that each area will have 2 sections each.

The testing areas are Analytical Reasoning Skills, Verbal Skills and Quantitative Skills. Each section has 30 questions, making the total number of questions 180.

Assessment Method: Each correct question will have 1 mark and for each wrong answer, there is negative marking scheme of 1/3 marks.

Exam duration: 180 minutes or 3 hours.

IBPS PO Exam Important Notifications

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) which is set to conduct its Probationary Officer (PO CWE-III) exam very soon has changed the Eligibility Criteria. There are modifications in the IBPS Syllabus- no descriptive exams. However, the subjects shall remain same. Also, there are changes in the examination structure, given as follows:

Structure of the examination:

1.  Reasoning                           : 50 marks

2.  English Language            : 40 marks

3.   Quantitative Aptitude   : 50 marks

4.  General Awareness         :40 Marks 
(with special reference to Banking Industry)  

5.   Computer Knowledge   : 20 Marks
