Himachal Pradesh PAT 2014 Notification

The Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Board is set to conduct the Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT 2014) on 18th May, 2014 for admissions in several diploma courses in State Government/Private Polytechnic Colleges.

Note: It is compulsory for the departmental candidates to appear for the test.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have passed Class 10 examinations with 35% marks, from a recognised board of examination.
  • Other candidates who have appeared for matriculation examination in 2014 can also apply.

Important Dates:

  • Last date for submission of application form: 26th April, 2014
  • PAT 2014 Examination Date: 18th May, 2014

How to Apply:

  • Obtain the prospectus and application form from the Office of the Secretary, HP Technical Education Board, Dharamshala by making a cash payment of Rs. 650/- for candidates of General category and Rs. 400/- for SC/ST/OBC.
  • Candidates can also obtain the prospectus via registered post by sending a Demand Draft worth Rs.700/- for General category and Rs.450/- for SC/ST/OBC category, drawn in favour of Secretary, H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, payable at Dharamshala.
  • Candidates can apply by sending their PAT Application form through registered post to the HP Technical Education Board on or before 26-04-2014 before 05:00 PM.

BITSAT 2014: Download Admit Card

The Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani is all geared up to conduct the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) 2014 (online mode) from 14th May till 1st June, 2014.

Online Application Forms available UGC NET June 2014

University Grants Commission (UGC) that has announced the examination date for National Eligibility Test (NET) for the June 2014 session is all set to release the application forms starting April 15, 2014. The exam which is scheduled to be held on June 29th, 2014 is for the aspirants to qualify to apply for the post of lecturer in any University/College in the country.

How to apply:

  1. Candidates have to apply online.
  2. Before filling the application form, candidates must have the required documents, including a photograph of the candidate.
  3. Candidates are advised to read the instructions before filling the application form.
  4. After filling the application form, a bank challan will be automatically generated.
  5. Candidates have to take the print out of the bank challan, and pay the application fee in cash at any of the branches of the SBI.
  6. After two days of payment of fee at SBI bank, the candidate is required to check the status of the fee in UGC website.
  7. Then, the candidate has to take the printout of the application form.
  8. The application form, along with the bank challan and other required documents must reach the Registrar / Principal of the coordinating institutions.
  9. The envelope containing the application form should be superscribed “UGC NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST FOR JUIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP AND ELIGIBITY FOR ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, JUNE 2014”.

SBI PO Recruitment 2014-Apply Online

State Bank of India (SBI) is set to conduct its Probationary Officer (PO) examination in June for 1837 posts. Interested candidates can apply online from 7th April till 25th April, 2014.

Age limit: Candidates minimum age should be 21 years and maximum 30 years as on 01-04-2014.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have attained the Graduation’s degree with minimum 55% marks in any recognised board.

  • For Reserved Candidates-Rs.100/-

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written examination, descriptive test, group discussion and personal interview.

SBI PO Examination Pattern 2014

It will be an objective type examination worth 200 marks, wherein each question will carry equal marks. The following subjects will be covered in the examination: English, Mathematics, Reasoning and General Knowledge and the Descriptive Paper with 1 hour duration, worth 50 marks.

UPSC NDA/NA Admit Card 2014

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is set to conduct a combined written examination on 20th April, 2014 for admission in different courses of Army, Navy Wings and Air Force of the National Defense Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy (NA) at 41 examination centres across India, for 375 posts. According to the source UPSC NDA & Na Examination Admit Card 2014 will be available in the last week of March.

JEE Main: Class 12th Admit Card copies required to allot new exam dates

CBSE is allotting new examination dates for the candidates, whose class 12th examinations are clashing with JEE Main 2014 computer based examinations. Candidates are supposed to mention their application number of JEE Main 2014 on the basis of which they will be allotted the new examination dates for the exam. Note: The copy of admit card of class 12th sent by post or sent on any other mail-id will not be entertained. Candidates have to send the admit card with their registered email-id for the JEE Main 2014 Examination. According to CBSE’s website, candidates can download the JEE Main 2014 Admit Card from 12th March onwards.
