The first rule in how to start a primary school is commitment to provide quality education and facilities to the students. The most important requirement is the infrastructure or the facility center. The owner further has to obtain licenses to make sure that the facilities are standard and provisions like safe drinking water, health and hygiene are maintained by the school officials. In case of any complaint, the authorities can have personal visits and inspection of the facilities. If the facilities are found non-standard, the authorities can cancel the licenses and even demand a fine.

Regarding day-today administration, a board or key faculty members are selected and primary tasks are delegated to them. These people are responsible for the proper administration of the school.

The school also has to secure affiliation with some known institution that will provide unbiased accreditations. In India the schools also have to opt for curriculum and assessment systems like CBSE and State Boards. The school has to work in accordance with them.
