Joint Entrance Examination 2011 (JEE-2011)

The competitive entrance test is conducted through a rotational policy between 15 IITs, each located in Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Mandi, Mumbai, Patna, Ropar and Roorkee.

The institutions are accompanied with Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IT-BHU) Varanasi and Indian School of Mines (ISM) Dhanbad.

Examination Schedule:  April 10, 2011:

Paper 1 09.00 – 12.00 hrs (Sunday)
Paper 2: 14.00 – 17.00 hrs

Paper 1 and Paper 2 each will have separate sections in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Both papers will be of objective type, designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates.

IIT JEE, JEE 2009, IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) JEE 2009 Results declared

The anxious wait  for thousands of IIT aspirants is finally over as the Indian Institute of Information Technology has declared the IITJEE (Indian Institute of Information Technology – Joint Entrance Exam) Results 2009 today at 8 a.m. Students can check their IIT IITJEE, IITJEE Results 2009 from the websites mentioned below:

This year around 3.95 lakh students from all over India appeared for the IITJEE exam conducted on 12th April 2009 for admission to nearly 6,000 seats in 15 IITs… 10035 candidates have been declared qualified to seek admission for 8295 seats in the IITs at Bhubaneswar, Bombay, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Mandi (H.P.), Patna, Punjab, Rajasthan and Roorkee, IT-BHU Varanasi and ISMU Dhanbad.

The number of candidates who appeared in IITJEE 2009 is nearly 24 percent more than the previous year. This year, admissions will also be made to IIT Himachal Pradesh and IIT Indore with 120 seats each. Counseling of successful candidates will be held from June 9 to 16.
